  1. Due to a problem with the email address of one of our new participants, the
  2. mail daemon on rand decided to send a couple of thousand messages to
  3. Postmaster (root) and the list server yesterday afternoon...
  4.  
  5. The first error occured at a couple of minutes past one and after a very
  6. short amount of time the /var/spool/mail directory had filled up.
  7. Since there was no more room, the system stopped saving incoming messages.
  8.  
  9. Fourteen messages were sent to the list before I managed to get rid of the
  10. problem and those are lost forever at this end.
  11.  
  12. If you sent something between 13.00 and 16.00 yesterday, it will not appear
  13. on the list unless you send it again.
